I just wanted to update you about the Life in 2050 exhibition and the competition results. We had an amazing response to our call for entries and the standard of work was very high. I am sorry to say your work wasn't selected by the judges, but we have featured it on the website.

Behance update

After creating a profile on the Behance network a few days ago i have recieved nearly 200 project views and have within my inner networking circle some big designers such as UndoBoy, Jared Nicholson, Short and Paul Thurlby. I have have put a link to my website on this profile, i have had some comments about the work on my site so people are using this link.
Below i have posted some of the comments i've received some simply say "Sweet!", but im just happy people are seeing my work. I be be updating in a few weeks time to see what progession has been made.

Renmen Project

I have joined the group 'Renemen Project', created by Ben the illustrator and the team over at thunder chunky, it is raising money for Haiti so its really worth getting involved. This is my contribution to the project.

I have created a profile on flikr and uploaded some of my work, this should help get some of my work seen by more creatives and hopefully recieve some feeback.

Screen prints

I have screen printed a set of three one colour character designs, each print an edition of 20, these were available to sell at a book fair held at leeds uni. I have also attached a business card to each print.

I have received my business cards from printed at 'overnight printers UK', the character and website on the front of the card is spot varnished, cost £33 for 250 of them so not a bad price. Although i am planning on designing some new ones as i feel the top of the character is to close to the top of the card and i cant help but notice it when i pick one up.

Website

I now have my website up and running, Im not much of a computer head so a big thank you to Tom Pratt for sorting it all out for me. I have uploaded some personal projects on my website as well as some work produced at uni.

The Stick Figure Museum

The amazing Stick Figure Museum, famous pieces of art stripped down to the simple aesthetics of a stick figure. I love this concept so i emailed Miguel 'the man who created the brilliant website' my version of the famous 'Frida Kahlo' painting (1940) and he was kind enough to add it the the website, thanks Miguel.
